Entry Requirements

A foreigner who plans to enter the Korea has to meet the entry requirements as below:

☞ You must possess a valid passport. Immigration officials will reject your entry if you present him/her an expired or fake/false passport.

☞ You must possess a valid visa.

☞ You must enter before the expiry date of your visa. Moreover, immigration officials may reject your entry if your Visa type does not match with your entry purpose.

☞ Jeju offers a very flexible entry/departure policy, which allows visitors to stay without a visa for up to 30 days.

  • Duration of stay: Up to 30 days
  • Permitted area / range: JEJU island
  • Conditions of entry: Those that arrive directly into JEJU island by flights or ships.
  • Special entry arrangements for JEJU island is denied to nationals of the following 23 countries. - Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Cameroon, Cuba, Egypt, Gambia, Ghana, Iran, Iraq, Kosovo, Kyrgyz, Myanmar, Nigeria, Nepal, Pakistan, Palestine, Senegal, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Syria, Uzbekistan, Yemen

K-ETA

K-ETA is an electronic travel authorization that visa-free foreign visitors need to obtain before entering the Republic of Korea, by submitting relevant information online such as their travel information. The purpose of travel should be tourism, visiting a family member, participating in events or meetings, or commercial business (excluding the pursuit of profit).

If you need an invitation letter for entry to Jeju Island, please contact fpi16org@gmail.com An invitation letter only can be issued to an attendee who completes the online registration including the payment of the registration fee, so please request an invitation letter after you complete the online registration with the payment.
